To use a concrete rake, first, prepare and pour your concrete mix onto the designated area. Place the rake into the mix and using a push-pull motion, spread the concrete evenly across the surface. Once the concrete is roughly spread, use the rake to level the surface by moving any excess concrete to areas where the layer is too thin.
