Welcome to the Washtenaw Tool Bank Collective!

April 2025 - Undergoing some site configuration and testing. Stay tuned... Launching this Spring!

The Washtenaw County Conservation District and Growing Hope Urban Farm have combined forces to create the Washtenaw Tool Bank Collective. Collectively we offer various tools & equipment for farming, gardening, and conservation projects serving the Ypsilanti, Ann Arbor, and greater Washtenaw communities.

The online system allows borrowers to browse, reserve, and borrow tools from both locations.
Loan reservations must be for one location at a time. Tools must be checked out and returned to the same location.

To Reserve Tools & Equipment:

ONLINE

  1. Register your account.
  2. Follow any additional steps for the location you are borrowing tools, WashtenawCD (Ann Arbor) or Growing Hope (Ypsilanti).
  3. Once you are registered, log in to view the tools and equipment available and make reservations.
  4. View the items by clicking on "All Items", or another category, on the left side.
Choose the location name to filter by tools available for that location.
  5. Choose your tool(s) and a date to pick them up on.
