Motorless push mower. Good for mowing small or medium lawns. Doesn't require any gas or battery, and is relatively quiet, but is not as strong as and slower than a gas-powered mower. With any lawnmower, including this one, you should wear eye protection (glasses or goggles), work gloves, long pants, and close-toed shoes. To use, push the mower back and forth across the lawn in parallel rows until you reach the opposite edge. Overlap the passes as needed so no grass is missed. Vary your mowing pattern throughout the season. In addition to giving you a better cut, this can help avoid ruts in your lawn. It's best to mow when the grass is less than 4 inches tall, because tall grass is harder to cut.
